We’re seeking TVET students who have completed their theoretical studies in agriculture and are now looking for opportunities to gain practical experience in the field. This is a chance to grow and develop in a real-world work environment.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
As part of your role, you’ll be involved in:
– Practical farm operations
– Maintenance and repair of equipment
– Techniques for crop production
– Animal husbandry practices
– Management of irrigation systems
– Greenhouse operations
– Pest and weed control applications
– Soil testing and analysis
– Harvesting and post-harvest handling
– Basic food processing tasks
– Keeping farm records
– Implementing sustainable farming methods
– Following safety and biosecurity procedures
– Providing basic veterinary care
– Engaging in agricultural marketing and sales
**Desired Experience & Qualifications**
We’re looking for candidates who have:
– A National Diploma in Crop Production, Farming Management, or a BSc in Agricultural Science
– An up-to-date CV
– A copy of your ID
– A placement letter
– An affidavit confirming you are not funded by any entity
