**Job Purpose:**

You will operate mining machinery and equipment within specified parameters to minimize waste and optimize costs.

 

**Key Responsibilities:**

 

– Maintain a safe working environment

– Follow work plans diligently

– Participate in daily morning meetings to discuss tasks

– Provide regular feedback to your supervisor on progress

– Adhere to safety standards and procedures

– Keep work areas organized and follow waste disposal protocols

– Identify equipment faults to ensure availability

– Attend training to enhance skills and competencies

– Discuss personal development needs with your group leader

– Support business goals by meeting deadlines

– Conduct plant inspections and perform necessary repairs

– Communicate work progress to customers

– Conduct inspections to enhance plant sustainability

– Ensure accurate feedback on equipment history to support maintenance and upgrades

– Participate in toolbox talks to improve safety

– Engage in discussions about safety and stability in the workplace

– Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in your work area

 

**Education Requirements:**

 

– Grade 12 or equivalent

 

**Experience:**

 

– Minimum of 2 years in a relevant role

 

**Key Skills:**

 

– **Behavioral:** Collaboration, adaptability, action-oriented, accountability

– **Technical:** Verbal communication, troubleshooting, knowledge of SHE policies and risk management, mining equipment efficiency
