**Job Purpose:**
As an Artisan Boilermaker, you will set up and operate welding, soldering, and brazing machines or robots to create strong metal products and components, laying the groundwork for robust infrastructure.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Demonstrate expertise in specific areas related to plant, mine, and equipment.
– Utilize plant maintenance documentation effectively.
– Understand and apply planning and work management systems.
– Comply with safety management systems.
– Implement emergency procedures as needed.
– Read and interpret task risk assessments and conduct hazard identification.
– Engage in daily meetings to discuss work assignments.
– Meet deadlines and support business goals.
– Provide regular feedback on work progress to your supervisor.
– Participate in root cause analysis and risk assessments to enhance safety.
– Maintain a clean workspace and follow waste disposal protocols.
– Mentor junior artisans and contribute to their development.
– Lead team tasks and initiatives, stepping in as group leader when appropriate.
– Collaborate on the overall maintenance strategy.
– Conduct physical inspections to ensure plant sustainability.
– Actively participate in safety discussions and provide input during toolbox talks.
**Qualifications:**
– Grade 12 / N3 with Mathematics, Physical Science, and English.
– Boilermaker Trade Certificate.
– Welding Trade Test is advantageous.
**Experience:**
– Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
**Licenses:**
– Valid Motor Vehicle Driver’s License.

– Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure effective equipment utilization.
